Alice in Wonderland is an American fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton, written by Linda Woolverton, and released by Walt Disnay Pictures.
The story is loosely based on an extension of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865). In 1951 Walt Disnay produced the first animated featured based on this novel.
